The Laney Jaymes Foundation for Pediatric Stroke (LJFPS) is dedicated to expanding awareness of pediatric stroke as well as raising funds for research into vascular diseases.
Our Mission
Our mission is to improve awareness of pediatric stroke, raise funds to support research into vascular diseases and provide medical and adaptive equipment to children who have suffered from stroke.
Laney’s Story
Our foundation is in loving memory of Lelaina Jaymes Fitzsimons, whose courageous fight against a rare vascular disease gave us our purpose: to make a difference in the lives of children affected by pediatric stroke.
Pediatric Stroke Awareness
We are dedicated to increasing the awareness of pediatric stroke and better educating parents and the medical community about stroke that can occur in children. With pediatric stroke, time is of the essence and quicker recognition can lead to life-saving medical intervention.
